Exploring a Topic Online
Research can feel like a messy process. You may begin searching for answers to a specific research question only to discover that there are gaps in knowledge or other questions that need answering first. Spending some time gathering background information can help and will often lead to a smoother research experience. This workshop will discuss different strategies that can be used during the early stages of the research process including the difference between simple/complex research questions (background/foreground), how to come up with background questions and how to locate reliable sources for gathering background information.
